Also called as Vinayak, Lord Ganesha is believed to be the eldest son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. He physical attribute is indifferent from other God and Goddesses. With four hand the Lord’s head is replaced with an elephant head and has big belly. The tiny mouse is believed to be His vehicle while sweet laddoo is His favorite offering by the devotees. Every year according to Hindu calendar, devotees dedicate the festivity of Ganesh Chaturthi to Lord Ganesha. It is said that, his ardent believers are blessed with power of knowledge and strength.
